  • Speedtree 8 for Unity not displaying node count correctly?

Not really sure how to explain this particular issue. Once updating the branch and leaf nodes from version 7 to 8, the number of leaves dropped to about 20% for no discernible reason. However, when I start to move the wheel - without even actually changing to number at all - the leaves pop back. I've attached images to try to explain.

Even when I blow the count out to craziness, the leaves/branches don't respond accordingly. They do while I'm holding the wheel, but return to a much barer outcome.

Any ideas on this? I'm out of ideas for this.

    Hi,

Do you have Collision turned on? If so, then I would suggest turning it off until you are at the stage in your modeling to use the Collision tool. This would remove any meshes that are intersecting. It tends to recalculate after any edit is made to the model.

    Hope this helps!
