I use speedtree modeler Ver 8.42 unity subscribe.
want to use high poly mesh tree models in unity.
I make movie in unity HDRP.
don't need wind effects and billboard functions.
    Only models.

if I use more than 50K tris models in unity.
The mesh of tree models are broken. (below pictures)

Is there method to use high poly tree models(more than100K tris) in Speed tree modeler unity version.

t_kishi117 Do you have a mesh assigned to your leaves?

If you go to the mesh tab on your material, you can check to see if you've assigned a cutout to your leaf mesh. You can learn more about meshes and the cutout editor on our v8 docs.

Please note that, due to Unity being a real-time engine, high poly models may tax it to the point of crashing. For more in depth testing of your issue, please let us know what version of Unity you are currently importing into.

    We hope this helps!

      Thank you for your reply.

I am beginner of speed tree modeler.

I try to use high poly models in version 2018.4.12f1 and 2018.3.14f1.
Same problems occured in both Unity version.
And I assigned mesh to leaf.

When I use models of speed tree less than 50K tris. Leafs has no problem.

      Real-time is not necessary.
I use Unity instead of render engine.
Final output files are image files.

Replacing More than 50K model with less than 50K works well.
I think this problem is poly counts.

We are currently talking to Unity about the polygon limit (it is actually 65k per draw call). It sounds like an easy fix that should be available soon.
