Custom mesh shape control not working (children nodes disappear)

Hi everyone,

I'm using 8.4.2 Cinema edition. The title says it all. What's weird is that I have one project where it works perfectly, but it does not work at all in any other new blank/preset project i open, so I am truly hoping that this is me being stupid rather than a bug.

Hi jojo: have you enabled your force mesh on your trunk under the spine tab?

I encountered the same problem until I checked that box!

It WORKS now perfecty, thank you so much! Glad it was me being stupid. Weird that that step isn't mentioned in any of the tutorials.
