Is there a way I could increase the radius of gnarl? I'm trying to create a spiral lucky bamboo.

Hey MimiZ: gnarl is applied per accurate spline point. The more force, the more curvature at each point, the tighter the spiral. To create a design like the spiral lucky bamboo with a larger radius, you can adjust the profile curves on the force to only apply it in the middle, then apply a gravity or direction force near the end to make it return to going up.
If this doesn't create a large enough radius for your design, you may want to test alternate approaches, like the bend tool in our freehand editing mode or using a cylinder mesh as a geometry force to wrap your bamboo around.
