  • Issues with grass billboards


    I've encountered an issue with grass billboards being shaded VERY differently from its standard mesh inside Unreal Engine 4 - seems like the issue is mostly in normal veectors of the billboard meshes, as they dont seem to be set up correctly. I don't recall having any tools to change the normals of the billboard mesh. Depending on the angle of the sun, the effect is more or less visible Click image for larger version

    Even when the base grass normals are set to be more "spherical" which they are not on the screen above, it doesnt seem to help, quite the opposite actually.

    Any idea how to fix it? Thanks!
