  • How can I edit vertex normals in Speed Tree modeler for games?

I am trying parent puffiness set to 1 and intermediate anchor. it works for the trees where branches grow 90 degree of a trunk or something. But once I am trying to do it on cypress style of a tree, a poplar etc the vertex normals is always up whatever I try. It completely messes in game lighting that is 100% dependent on vertex normals ?

Doesn't Speed tree had something to edit vertex normals , a curve or something. Where it is now?

Is there any other way to control foliage vertex normals ? Maybe a way to import edited vertex normals back to Speed tree from Blender for example ?

    Hello Kirkr22

The vertex normals can be adjusted through the Lighting panel in the Generator properties. You can find more information about it here
Would you mind sending us screenshots and tell us a bit more about what you would like to do with your cypress tree please, it would be easier to propose a solution!
