  • Pivot Point Direction for Cutouts

Hi, I started using speedtree 9 at my job (used 8.3 before).

I am trying to cut out meshes from an atlas, but the pivot point seems to be missing the orange directional bar that lets you set the orientation of the mesh. I have to pack many things myself into my atlas and have had to switch the orientation of the packed leaves kind of all over the place to make the most use of the texture space.

    Help is appreciated!! Thanks!

    Hello sergiosuarezart

The orange directional bar was missing from version 9, if you update to the latest release it will be back!

If you want to continue using version 9, you can set the orientation by adjusting the straighten area.

    We hope this helps!

genevieve No sorry I was using 9.3 and the pivot point was removed for this version for some reason. It's back on 9.4 though so it's all good! Thank you!
