  • Houdini 13 "No geometry found in FBX file."

    Hi,

    I'm unable to import exported SpeedTree files into Houdini, getting a "No geometry found in FBX file." error.

    The sample in samples\FBX Export\Palm_Full loads fine, but the other samples have the same issue.

    Importing my own files as FBX into Houdini works, and 3DS Max can load them with the SpeedTree importer util no trouble.


    I was only able to find one other reference to this issue, but it dates back to 2011:

    This is in Houdini build 437 on Windows 8.1, and I've tried 237 and 248 with the same results.

    It may appear the issue is the same as the old problem, as they load fine when using full explicit paths instead of relative paths.

    (this is using the _path_fix otl posted earlier in the week).
