  • UDK lightmap resolution

    Does anyone know if there is a way to check and set lightmap resolutions for speedtrees in UDK?

    I am also wondering if the highest lod's lightmap is used for the other lods, because the second level is really splotchy.

    Thanks for any help.

    SpeedTrees in UDK only use per-vertex lightmapping, not texture based lightmapping. So there is no resolution to set; it's all based on the vertices in the model.

      Great, thank you for your help.
      We noticed our vertex shadow map memory grow greatly when we populated a map with them. So this explains why.
