  • How can I achieve this shape?

    Hi,

I 'modeled' a tree in SpeedTree and I can't quite achieve the look I want with it. Here is my tree:

I want it to be more 'pointy' like a pyramid shape.
I can achieve this with 3ds max by adding a 'Taper' modifier, like so:

    But,
I want to use this tree in Unreal 4, and by doing this, the wind simulation messes up, very badly. My guess is the data gets lost when importing\exporting from 3ds max.

    So my question is,
    - How can I edit my tree in SpeedTree to achieve this? I tried change many settings, such as the Spine - Length %, but this removes the leaves when the branches become too short.
    OR
    - How can I edit the geometry and keep the wind data intact? (If that's even possible)

    Thanks in advance.
Working...
