This issue forces me to create my own meshes in Maya and import them in speedtree. But I would like to create the frond straight in ST and randomize it as much as I can.
So here is what I mean by the frond changes angle when the branch parent bends


Plant factory has a node called Hydra, it works pretty well, no matter what the parent position angle it will maintain the rotation of the leaves.
