  • Spruce Tree Branches with Fronds

    Hey!

I am currently modeling spruce trees and got into some issues. I have a trunk with big branches and a frond applied to that. I put a branch material on my fronds and they follow my big branches just how I want. The problem I have now is that I want the big branches to be under my frond plane so they will be hidden and not hovering above my frond plane.
Is there a way to control the offset of the big branch or maybe to adjust where the fronds will spawn exactly?
    Thanks for your help

    Hi,

The branch separation from the mesh is happening because there aren't enough length segments/triangles in the frond mesh to match the branch shape. You can either chose to hide the branches or add more segments or triangles to your frond mesh.

    Hope this helps!
