  • Inherit Vertex Normal direction from Mesh using Zones

    Hey!

    Is there any way to make it so that leaves that are spawned from a mesh zone inherits the vertex normal direction and rotation and are spawned following the flow of the mesh? I feel like I've tested everything and the closest I get is that they inherit the direction but not the orientation so all of the cards will be rotated differently.

    To the left In the example image bellow I am spawning the arrows with a mesh zone and I am unable to get the arrows to align and have the same rotation relative to the surface they are spawned on.

    On the right I have faked the desired result by using a hand drawn branch (that I used to create the geometry for the zone) to spawn the arrows from and in this case it inherits the normal direction and rotation.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, we do not have a way to achieve exactly what you described on a imported mesh. I will log this for our developers to look at.
