  • Normal Map Not Working in Unity

    Hi,
    I just started using speedtree for Unity and I ran into a small problem when viewing my speedtree model in unity. When I'm viewing it in speedtree, the normal map works correctly. When I import it into unity, only patches of the model seem to have the normal map. I've attached some pictures to show whats going on. Hopefully, this is an easy fix.

    Hi,

    Seems like the normal weren't set up correctly. When you imported the tree, you should have gotten a pop-up Normal Map Settings asking if the Normal map should be marked as such. You need to make sure to click 'Fix now' for it to connect it properly.

      Alrighty, I got it fixed. Thank you for referencing the video, it helped a bunch seeing the step by step process.
