    Hi,

That is because you do not have a Transmission Map applied to the model's material. In the v7 modeler, you need to make your material maps. The Transmission map tells how much light should be let through or not on the texture. By using an outside image editing program, you need to save this Transmission texture into the alpha of you Specular map/texture. Then load it in the Materials -> Specular/Transmission map slot inside the modeler.

Here is a link about the v7 modeler's materials: http://docs.speedtree.com/doku.php?id=material_assets

    Hope this helps!

In the modeler, go to the material and check if you have a 'Subsurface' map and 'Subsurface Amount' map. If you don't, you can just assign a color and set an Subsurface Amount value; like 0.6. Re-export the asset again and see if that gets rid of the black side.

Here is a link to our documentation page about the PBR material setup we use: http://docs8.speedtree.com/modeler/d...kcmaterialspbr

          Hope this helps!
