Any tips on getting leaf animation in Unreal 4.22?

    Hi,

When you say Leaf Animation, do you mean wind or animated growth?

Hi my old material with existing speed tree nodes work with unreal 4.22 but if i make a fresh one and select a wind type it will crash the unreal editor.

          Hi,

With wind for UE4, you need to set the Wind and tune it inside the modeler and then it should automatically be exported out along with the model. When importing the model in UE4, you want to make sure that you enable the 'Include Vertex Processing' in the import settings that appears when importing into UE4. Then you will need to add a Wind Source to your scene.

Here is a documentation page about tuning the wind inside the modeler for UE4: http://docs8.speedtree.com/modeler/doku.php?id=windue4
Here is a link to the tutorial about exporting models from the ST modeler and importing them into UE4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fc07...index=3&t=132s

As for the crashing, what ST modeler version are you using and what are you setting the wind to?

This was just using the default unreal project "Lightroom day" and paying around with the tree material they have setup (That's using the speed tree wind node.)
