    How did Epic set up these LOD's to go from individual leaves to branch generator leaves on the second LOD? I've never seen the option to use different branches/materials on seperate LOD levels.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,

    The kite demo is a little different because Epic went outside the normal SpeedTree pipeline. They exported static meshes from the Modeler and set up the LODs themselves manually. Those are most likely two different trees. You could export each version of the tree from the ST modeler with only 1 LOD and then set it up to switch in UE4
