  • UE4 UV bug?

    They are finally producing my first tree, I followed the tutorials on youtube and exported to unreal engine, but when I check the UV I came across this map all red, that's bad right?
    How can I fix this?

    Hello, have the lightmaps been set on the tree? Could you clip us an image of your uv properties and the tree inside SpeedTree?

            Hello,
            Two things to try there:
            1. On your tree make sure you're using the "Leaf mesh" generator not the "batched leaf" generator. You can right-click and quickly change this in the generation window if done by mistake.
            2. On each branch and leaf generator, you can select and go to Properties > All > Lightmap and from there adjust the weight. (You'll want to do this in view > lightmaps mode.)
