  • Deleting forces?

I've got a few 'Forces' in a SpeedTree project that I'd like to get rid off. How do I go about this? It may seem a simple question, but I can't seem to find a way to do this.

    Thanks for reading!

Just select them and hit delete. If you don't see them in the viewport, you can select any of them with the force icon in the generation editor.

Yep. That works great! Now why didn't I think of that?

      Thanks Greg.

One further question on Forces, is it possible to rename them? I've got 3 directional Forces with various attenuations and directions set, to whip specific parts of the tree into the shape I require, so being able to differentiate them by name would be a good idea I think.

          Hello,

Yes you can rename them. This one isn't as obvious. Hit F2, like in Windows Explorer, to rename anything in the Modeler.

We used to have a menu option for it, but it got lost in the big gui rewrite for 6.0. We already have logged to add it back.

          Hope this helps

Excellent! Glad to know this is possible. Just tried it now and works great.
            Thanks Greg!
