  • A way to create materials that can be 'global', to be used in any project.

    For example, when I start a new tree, I have to create the materials which is a very time consuming process. I would like to know how to for example: create a material, somehow make it 'global', so when I make a new tree, or open an existing one, I can find that material quickly and use it. I'm making lots of foliage, bushes, plants, etc... And reusing many texture assets, recreating every material is taking soooo long

    Hi mikST : we will log this for our engineers to consider. In the meantime, if you'd like to begin another tree with the same materials imported, we'd recommend saving the file again under a new name and then starting to model your tree in that new file.
