  • Unity and Speedtree LOD Material generation

    I have a request from one of our artists to turn off automatic material generation for LOD levels of spm files in Unity. The model importer has this option but the AssetPostprocessor.OnPreprocessSpeedTree() assetImporter does not appear to have any such option. Please note the artist wishes to use LOD, just does not want to use the materials generated for them.

    Thoughts?

    What you're asking will probably require some code edits. Unfortunately, the scripting interface is a little out of our wheelhouse. You might have better luck asking on answers.unity3d.com
